First-time Homebuyers Return to Texas

The year 2015 marks what many in the home mortgage industry expect to be the return of the first-time homebuyer in Texas. First-time homebuyers are expected to re-emerge over the course of the year after nearly 6-years of hibernation.

More Millennials in the Lone Star State find themselves in stable situations. They have secured good-paying jobs, and, thanks to their tight-fisted fiscal living habits of the past few years such as living with their parents post-graduation or finding a roommate, they have been able to sock away money for a down payment on a new home or condo.
